These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jyotishi website and application (the “Service”), operated by [PLACEHOLDER: Legal entity name, e.g. “Spinzy Digital Private Limited”] (“Jyotishi”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Service.

2. The Service is guidance, not professional advice

Jyotishi provides AI-generated and, where you choose to escalate, human-astrologer-provided Vedic astrology readings, chart interpretations, and guidance for informational and entertainment purposes. Readings are based on interpretive traditions applied to your self-reported birth details.

Jyotishi does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Nothing on the Service is a substitute for consultation with a qualified doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or mental health professional. Decisions about your health, finances, relationships, or legal matters should never be based solely on astrological guidance. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact emergency services or a licensed professional immediately, not the Service.

3. AI Jyotishi and human astrologers

The AI Jyotishi is available to all users at all times as the default way to use the Service. Where enabled, you may choose to escalate a conversation to a verified human astrologer for a paid, per-minute session; the AI never withdraws or degrades because a human option exists or is unavailable -- you always have the AI Jyotishi available.

Human astrologers on the Service are independent professionals we verify and onboard, not our employees. We are not responsible for the specific content of an individual astrologer’s advice, though we operate a review and quality-moderation process and will act on substantiated complaints, including suspending an astrologer’s access to the Service.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false birth or identity information, or are used for fraud, harassment, or abuse of astrologers or other users.

5. Subscriptions, session fees, and payments

  • Subscription plans (Free / Core / Premium) are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Human astrologer sessions are billed per minute via Razorpay at the time of booking, in addition to any active subscription.
  • Prices are shown in INR and may change with prior notice; changes do not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds, where applicable, follow our refund policy communicated at the point of purchase or booking; unused session time is not refundable except where required by law or where the Service failed to deliver the paid session.

6. Your birth data and content

You represent that the birth date, time, and place you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the right to provide any third party’s birth data you enter (for example, for a compatibility/synastry reading) with that person’s consent. 7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or impersonate another person or astrologer.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service’s AI prompts, models, or underlying chart-calculation logic.
  • Use automated means to create accounts or access the Service without our written permission.
  • Circumvent payment for human astrologer sessions (e.g. soliciting off-platform payment).

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, branding, and AI-generated interface content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the birth data and messages you submit, and grant us a license to process them solely to provide the Service to you.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Astrological readings, whether AI- or human-generated, are interpretive and not guaranteed to be accurate or predictive of future events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any reading, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [PLACEHOLDER: city, e.g. “New Delhi”] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

12. Changes to these Terms
